Invite Carolyn to Speak
Scripture. Story. Reflection. A Place to Grow.
I am Carolyn Carleton—an author, mentor, teacher, and creator of the My Journey Journal series. For more than two decades, I have been teaching, writing, mentoring, and encouraging women to grow deeper in their faith and live with greater intention.
My approach to speaking is rooted in a simple belief: Scripture should not simply be something we read. It should shape the way we live.

Through biblical teaching, personal storytelling, guided journaling, and practical reflection, I create space for women to slow down, ask meaningful questions, and consider how God is at work in the ordinary and difficult chapters of their lives.
Whether you are planning a women’s retreat, church gathering, conference, small group event, or creative workshop, I would love to help you create an experience that is thoughtful, encouraging, and grounded in Scripture.
Speaking & Workshop Topics
A practical and reflective introduction to journaling as a tool for gratitude, personal growth, prayer, and intentional living.
Participants explore meaningful prompts and learn how to develop a journaling practice that works for their own season of life.
A Different Kind of Gathering
I believe some of the most meaningful moments at an event happen when we stop consuming information and begin engaging with it.
That is why my sessions can incorporate guided journaling, quiet reflection, conversation, Scripture, creative exercises, and practical take-home resources.
Depending on your event, I can provide:
-
Keynote-style presentations
-
Interactive journaling workshops
-
Scripture-based teaching
-
Women’s retreat sessions
-
Half-day or full-day workshops
-
Small group experiences
-
Creative and fibre arts wellness workshops
-
Customized presentations based on your event theme
Sessions can also be combined to create a retreat or workshop experience specifically for your community.
About Carolyn
Carolyn Carleton is a Canadian author, mentor, teacher, fibre artist, and creator of resources that equip women to live with greater intention.
For more than two decades, Carolyn has taught and mentored others through writing, workshops, ministry, community leadership, and creative practice.
She is a national award-winning Christian author and the creator of the My Journey Journal series, guided journals designed to encourage reflection, gratitude, and intentional living.
She is also the designer behind Living Skies Fibre Studio, where her love of knitting, crochet, weaving, slow living, and creative wellness has grown into patterns, workshops, and teaching.
Her work is shaped by a love of Scripture, curiosity, creativity, and a belief that some of life's most important lessons are discovered when we slow down long enough to notice them.
Carolyn has a heart for creating sanctuary—sacred spaces where women and leaders can pause, reflect, and deepen their faith. Her speaking engagements are filled with authenticity, warmth, and truth as she shares from a real and raw place that resonates deeply with her audience.
Whether at women’s retreats, leadership conferences, camps, or small groups, Carolyn invites listeners to slow down, open scripture, and rediscover the beauty of a life rooted in faith and reflection. Her teachings on biblical literacy and journaling inspire others to cultivate a faith that is both practical and deeply personal.
Carolyn lives in Saskatchewan, Canada, where the prairie landscape and its extraordinary Living Skies continue to influence her writing and creative work.
