About Carolyn Carleton
Welcome. I am so glad you are here.

For more than two decades, I have walked alongside people as a speaker, mentor, and creative.
Throughout that journey, I discovered something that connects us all: a deep longing for sanctuary—a place where we can pause, reflect, heal, create, and reconnect with what matters most.

My work is rooted in the belief that creativity, gratitude, faith, and intentional living have the power to transform our lives. Whether through journaling, fibre arts, workshops, teaching, or mentoring, my goal is to equip and encourage others to build lives grounded in gratitude, creativity, faith, and wellness.
My Journey Journals
One of the ways I support others is through the My Journey Journal series.

The My Journey Journal Series was born out of one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

In 2015, I was involved in a horrific motor vehicle accident caused by an impaired driver. The accident left me struggling with memory challenges, uncertainty, and a long road of recovery. During that season, journaling became more than a hobby—it became a lifeline.

As I began recording prayers, gratitude, lessons learned, and God's faithfulness, I discovered that writing helped me see how God was working even when life felt overwhelming. Week by week, page by page, my journal became a record of healing, growth, and hope.

What began as a personal practice eventually became the My Journey Journal Series, a collection of guided journals designed to help women and teens reflect on their lives, deepen their faith, practice gratitude, and preserve their stories for future generations.

My hope is that every journal becomes a place where readers can slow down, hear God's voice, and recognize His hand at work in their own journey.
Fibre, Creativity, and Wellness
In 2014, I founded Living Skies Fibre Studio as a creative expression of my love for fibre arts, wellness, and the beauty of the Saskatchewan landscape.

My fibre arts journey began as a teenager while knitting alongside my grandmother. What started as a simple pastime grew into a lifelong passion for knitting, crochet, weaving, and creating by hand.

Living Skies Fibre Studio was built on the belief that creativity is good for the soul. There is something deeply restorative about working with our hands—the rhythm of stitching, the texture of natural fibres, and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful one stitch at a time.

Since launching Living Skies Fibre Studio, I have designed patterns enjoyed by makers around the world, taught fibre arts workshops, spoken about creativity and wellness, and shared the therapeutic benefits of making.

Today, Living Skies Fibre Studio continues to inspire makers to embrace slow living, creativity, and the quiet joy found in the process of creating.

I am a proud member of the Prince Albert Spinners and Weaver's Guild and an ambassador for the Campaign for Wool in Canada.
One Journey, One Sanctuary
I believe that healing often happens in small, ordinary moments.

A journal page filled with honest thoughts.
A quiet morning with a cup of tea.
A prayer whispered in faith.
A row of knitting completed one stitch at a time.
A conversation that reminds us we are not alone.

These simple practices help us cultivate lives that are rooted, resilient, and flourishing.

My hope is that the resources you find here will encourage you to slow down, create space for what matters most, and continue growing into the person you were created to be.

Thank you for being here.
Let us walk this journey together.
