Welcome!

I am Carolyn Carleton—author, mentor, teacher, and creator of resources designed to equip women to live with intention, resilience, and hope.

For more than two decades, I have walked alongside others as a speaker and mentor, listening to their stories and witnessing a shared longing: the need for sanctuary. A place to pause. To reflect. To be restored. To be equipped for the life they are called to live.

That longing shaped my work and led me to create tools and spaces that gently invite gratitude, clarity, and purpose into everyday life.

Creating Tools for Reflection and Growth

At the heart of my work is the My Journey Journal series—a weekly journaling practice designed to help women slow down, reflect, and cultivate gratitude. These journals are practical, approachable, and deeply personal, offering space to notice growth, honour challenges, and intentionally shape the life you are living.

Alongside the journals, I offer Rooted & Flourishing workshops and teachings that focus on building strong foundations of resilience. These experiences are created to support women who want to live with integrity, tend to their inner life, and grow steadily rather than frantically.

Everything I create is rooted in the belief that transformation does not require pressure. It requires presence.

Living Skies Fibre Studio

Creativity has always been part of my life. My fibre arts journey began in my teens, knitting alongside my Grandmother. Those early moments planted a love for fibre that has stayed with me ever since.

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, in the Land of Living Skies, with my husband and our two adult daughters. The wide skies, changing seasons, and quiet beauty of the Prairies continually inspire my original crochet and knitting designs.

Since publishing my first pattern in 2014, my work has been featured in magazines and subscription boxes, and has become well loved by makers around the world through platforms such as Etsy and Ravelry.

During a challenging season of health issues, fibre arts became a vital source of mental wellness for me. The rhythmic, linear movement of working with yarn offered calm, focus, and unexpected insight. Stitch by stitch, creativity became a way to listen to my own heart again.

That experience shaped the direction of Living Skies Fibre Studio, where creativity and wellness are intentionally woven together.

In 2019, I created Weaving into Wellness, a hands-on workshop that explores the meditative and mental health benefits of fibre arts. I continue to teach fibre arts in local arts centres and school classrooms, sharing not just technique, but the restorative power of making with your hands.

I am a proud member of the Prince Albert Spinners and Weavers Guild and an ambassador for the Campaign for Wool in Canada.

One Journey, Many Threads

This website brings all of my work together because it has always been one journey.

Whether through journaling, fibre, teaching, or mentoring, my work is about creating sanctuary—spaces where women can breathe, reflect, heal, and grow. Spaces where beauty and truth meet. Spaces where intention replaces urgency.

Thank you for being here.

Let us walk this journey together.
