I am so excited about the Edmonton Fibre Frolic. I was so disappointed earlier this year when I had to cancel my trip to the Biggar Fibre Fair the only fibre festival in Saskatchewan.
But now plans are in place for a road trip to Edmonton, Alberta! I have signed up for a workshop about the History of Wool production in Canada taught by Anna Hunter from Long Way Homestead that is located just outside Winnipeg. I have been following her on Instagram for a while and I belong to her breed of the month club. I am so excited to learn more about this topic.
I am making a list of all booths that I want to visit, I am excited to chat with all the maker's in person.
Since I was making the trip to Edmonton I wanted to invest myself into this experience so I am also volunteering at the Gathering Threads Social Lounge. That is where you fill find the food, photo booth, social games and a place to lounge and start creating with your new yarn. 😊 You can find me there on Sunday from 3-5pm, please stop by and say "Hi!"
If you want to join in on some more of the fibre fun you can check out the daily virtual festival on YouTube! I will be the guest tonight at 7:00pm CST. I am so excited to hang out with Holly and Deveter tonight to share about what has been going on in the Living Skies Fibre Studio and some exciting things that are coming up!
I hope you will tune in!
